Collectors' Entry Point: Select Works Under $3,000

The title is unusually direct for an art gallery, which is the point. Collectors' Entry Point names what it is: a curated selection of works by eleven artists — Ahmad Kasha, Ahmad Moualla, Antoine Deeb, Arda Aslanian, Jude Maharmeh, Khaled Jarada, Lynn Issa, Majd Kurdieh, Mayar Obeido, Omran Younis and Rabee Kiwan — all priced under $3,000. Some of these artists are already in major collections: Kasha in the Barjeel Art Foundation, Jarada recognised by the Reiffers Initiatives Prize, Younis shown at Poland's oldest museum. The exhibition is a statement about what Fann À Porter has always believed: that collecting should not require either institutional access or exceptional wealth. It just requires looking.
