How Islam shaped Emirati life
A pavilion on Islam as the foundation of Emirati culture. It opens with an orientation to the essential principles and beliefs of the faith and its influence on language, science, the arts and architecture, then steps back to the first half of the twentieth century to show how Emiratis wove those principles into the fabric of everyday life — into how they raised families, did business and interacted with the world. The museum frames the result as the source of the courtesy, respect and tolerance the emirate is known for, and the house is deliberately built to be accessible to visitors of every faith and level of knowledge.
