The spoken and written word
A pavilion honouring the oral and written poetic traditions of the Arab world, designed by ACCIONA Cultura with immersive, multisensory installations and projection mapping. Poetry holds particular weight in Gulf culture — as memory, performance and a way of carrying history — and the house follows the museum's house-logic: it moves from historic and Bedouin poetry through to the present, showing how eloquence is still valued in Emirati life today rather than treating verse as a closed chapter. It is also one of the points in the museum where tickets can be purchased.
