About the work
A small, intensely worked charcoal drawing in which Osanyemi's realist hand meets a more conceptual charge. Working only in black charcoal on paper, he builds depth and atmosphere through tonal control alone, drawing the viewer into a contemplative, interior state that the title names directly. The intimate scale concentrates attention on surface and gesture.
